Chemical name: Aluminum fluoride Chemical formula:AlF3 Molar mass 83.98 g mol−1
Aluminum fluoride by dry method is a white granule power, It has relative density of 2.882~3.13g/cm3, volumetric weight 1.3~1.6g/cm3, Rest Angle is 30°, Mobile coefficient is 60s/kg.
Uses: Adding aluminium fluoride to the production process of primary aluminium is of great importance for lowering the electricity consumption during the smelting process. (It is mainly used as an adjusting agent for electrolytic aluminum product processing.) It also can be used as the flux of vitreous enamel around the ceramics and the flux of nonferrous metal metallurgy, etc.
